It started with a picnic...
Will proposed the idea of Lottie to Chris over a socially distant picnic during COVID-19.
June 2021
£400k Angel Funding Round
Raised £400k investment from leading entrepreneurs including Tom Blomfield (Founder and ex-CEO of Monzo).
July 2021
Launch of Lottie
To meet Tom Blomfield’s deadline for investment, Lottie went live to the public in July 2021 with a half-broken website.
August 2021
First Lottie Resident
Chris and Will celebrated Lottie’s first ever resident by visiting Trevor at his new home and delivering him a welcome gift.
October 2021
£2.5m Pre-Seed Funding Round
Raised £2.5m investment from venture capital firm Kindred.
November 2021
Lottie’s 1st office in London Bridge
Moved into Lottie’s first office with Runway East in London Bridge.
December 2021
100 Lottie Residents
After a slow start, Lottie picked up momentum towards the end of 2021 and Will celebrated his 100th resident placement.
May 2022
Acquisition of Found
Lottie acquired Found to help support providers go digital and to better deliver outstanding customer experience.
June 2022
£6.1m Seed Funding Round
Raised £6.1m Seed investment from leading global venture capital firm General Catalyst.
July 2022
Lottie’s 2nd office in Shoreditch
Moved into Runway East’s new office in Shoreditch to house Lottie’s growing team.
October 2022
Launch of Seniorcare
Launch of Seniorcare, Lottie’s industry leading eldercare employee benefits solution used by the likes of DHL, Diageo and Unilever.
November 2022
Nights on Lottie
Launched Nights on Lottie, a not-for-profit initiative that gifts free prizes to UK carers and endorsed by Anton Du Beke.
